How Does It Work?

The entire process for mentors takes around five to seven hours of your time:

1. Create an Analytics Exchange account
2. Review the currently open projects and sign up
3. If you're selected, you'll be asked to set up the first meeting
4. Lead that conversation and set the goals (see below)
5. Make sure the student understands the project
6. Review the student's work and suggest improvements
7. Let the organization know the work is complete
8. Support the student as they present their work
9. All three parties will evaluate each other's effort

Analysis Exchange projects are be designed to be completed in about three weeks. Your total time commitment will be about five to seven hours. That's it!

About Your Role as Mentor

You are the glue that holds The Analysis Exchange together. Your job is to help focus the conversation and the analysis to ensure that each project turns into a valuable training opportunity.
